Emotional Baggage
“So, what’s in your bag?” It’s a question we’ve all asked our friends at one point or another. But if we take a closer look at the genders, the answers that come out couldn’t be more different! Open up a woman’s purse and you will find a multitude of things. Ranging from lip gloss, hair ties, mints, sanitary napkins, the trusty Paracetamol and at least three Sharpies that stopped functioning a while back.

Aesthetic Trap
Once upon a time, people decorated their homes for comfort. Now, they do it for the ‘gram. It is no longer about creating a space that feels cosy, it is about curating a backdrop worthy of a Pinterest board. Coffee mugs must seamlessly blend into the kitchen aesthetic, even if no one drinks from them. And fridges, as if your juice cartons are not decanted into identical glass jars, are you even trying?
Woke or just clueless Gen Z?
Remember the days when people actually fought for change, whether through revolt or revolution? Fast forward to today, and everything’s shifted. Back then, being “woke” meant awareness with action. Now, it’s all Instagram posts and hashtags. Enter GenZ, the new “enlightened” generation, fighting for change, one post at a time. Who needs protests when you can just share a story and call it a day? The revolution seems more like a trend, but hey, at least the likes are real.
